I grew up immersed in theatre with both my parents actively involved in my hometown's summer theater both on stage and behind the scenes. They also regularly took me to community, regional, and professional productions. Although I had a love of theatre from a young age, I gave up performing for a number of years in early adulthood. While living in DC in my early 30s, I started taking improv classes with Washington Improv Theatre. I soon pursued additional opportunities to get on stage again. I got connected with Levine Music's theatre program and have developed considerably from there. I have been very fortunate to get to work with and learn from incredible people in the industry from local theatre to Broadway and the West End. I recently had the opportunity to give back to my hometown theater by directing their production of The Music Man.
